Can Trust Wallet Directly Swap TRC20 to ERC20?

Trust Wallet supports both the TRON (TRC20) and Ethereum (ERC20) networks, but you cannot swap directly between networks within the app for all token pairs. For TRC20 USDT to ERC20 USDT, you will typically need to use one of these approaches: the built-in Trust Wallet swap feature (if available for this pair), a third-party swap platform accessed via the in-app browser, or a centralized exchange by sending tokens out of Trust Wallet first.

Method 1: Use Trust Wallet's Built-In Swap

Trust Wallet has integrated DEX and swap functionality through partnerships with various aggregators. Open the Swap tab in Trust Wallet, select USDT on the TRON network as the source token, and USDT on the Ethereum network as the destination. If this cross-chain pair is supported, you will see a quote. Review the rate and fees, then confirm.

Note: cross-chain swap availability depends on Trust Wallet's current integrations. Check the app for the latest supported pairs.

Method 2: Use a DeFi Bridge via Trust Wallet Browser

Trust Wallet includes a built-in DApp browser. Open it and navigate to a cross-chain bridge platform such as Allbridge Core or Symbiosis Finance. Connect your Trust Wallet, select TRC20 USDT as the source and ERC20 USDT as the destination, and confirm the transaction. This method keeps you in full control of your keys throughout.

Method 3: Send to an Exchange and Withdraw as ERC20

This is the most reliable method:

  • Open Trust Wallet and copy your TRC20 USDT balance.
  • On a centralized exchange (Binance, Bybit, OKX), create a TRC20 USDT deposit address.
  • Send from Trust Wallet to the exchange deposit address.
  • Withdraw from the exchange as ERC20 USDT to your Trust Wallet's Ethereum address.

How to Find Your ERC20 Address in Trust Wallet

In Trust Wallet, go to the Ethereum section of your wallet and tap Receive. Your Ethereum address (ERC20) will be displayed — it begins with "0x". This is the address you use to receive ERC20 USDT after the swap.

Never share your Trust Wallet seed phrase with any platform or individual. Legitimate bridge platforms and swap services will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Only interact with verified contract addresses and official platform URLs.
